March 2010 Calvin
Alisher Repeats!

alisher
Alisher at the 2008 Michigan Class.

2010 Michigan Class champion Alisher Sanetullaev scored 3.5 out of 4.0 to win the March Calvin.  Only local hero Stan Jarosz was able to hold Alisher to a draw, in a hard fought Round 1 game.  Ratko Bojanovic got the clear upper hand against Alisher in Round 4, but then lost his way pressing his king side attack.

Isaac Zylstra swept the reserve with a perfect 4-0, pushing his rating over 1500.

Reuben Niewenhuis, Leah Ziegler, and Charlotte Deimel tied for first in the scholastic section, all with 3.5/5.0 points.
